Sadly, while petitions do get the word out, there is little evidence that they make any difference to the situation for the animals in Bosnia.

EU,  when do you think it is time to act?
When the EU presented their new animal welfare strategy for 2012 – 2015 a few months later, the deception was great because that document does not contain one single mention as to how and when the EU would start to tackle the stray animals issue within the European Union.

Stop Hunting Stray Dogs in Serbia (Facebook group with petition letter details)
While trying to join the European Union, Serbia was forced to legislate some laws that regulated protection and care for the animals welfare. In accordance to this, ttrategy for solving the problem of stray dogs was made in Belgrade. In 2012, keeping dogs chained is unfortunately still an all too common practice in many European countries. Kept “out of sight, out of mind” in the back yard or as a guard dog to alarm his/her owner when someone comes, chained dogs are forced to live chained up their entire life.

      • Sono d’accordo anch’io. Ma questa soluzione isolerebbe ancora di più i massacratori, i quali continuerebbero indisturbati a torturare e a uccidere animali innocenti.
        Occorrono Leggi, interventi, sanzioni severe. Occorre che gli Ambasciatori europei presenti sul territorio denuncino questi assurdi massacri. E soprattutto occorre che l’essere umano sia VERAMENTE umano e che noi, che amiamo, proteggiamo e rispettiamo ogni forma di vita, non dimentichiamo mai un solo giorno gli orrori che accadono, proprio accanto a noi. Il Pianeta Terra non è “piccolo”; il male che viene perpetrato a qualche migliaio di chilometri dalle nostre case si insinua dentro esse, se noi chiudiamo i nostri occhi, se noi dimentichiamo.

  31. to do to an animal what these Barbaric countries do is something we can never forgive or forget, nobody could possibly imagine what pain and trauma Vucka the Alsation went through, but I would happily inflict the same on the ones that did this. if it was not Barbaric what the hell is?? poor dog at peace at last. but the arseholes that did this I Hope they rot in hell.

Let’s all do everything we possibly can to help these animals even if all we can do is write a comment or sign a petition or just simply share with everyone on Facebook and Twitter, etc.. STOP THE ABUSE AND KILLING OF INNOCENT ANIMALS FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!!!
